Method

Deviled Egg Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12-14 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After the eggs have rested, transfer them to an ice bath for about 5 minutes to cool. Once cooled, gently peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a medium bowl, scoop out the yolks from the egg halves and place them in the bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mash the mixture until smooth and well combined.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the hollowed-out egg whites with the yolk mixture.

  2. 5

    Prepare Toppings

Crisp the bacon slices in a skillet until golden brown. Once cooled, crumble them into small pieces. Chop the grilled chicken strips into small bite-sized pieces and slice the green onions.

  3. 6

    Garnish the Eggs

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon, chopped chicken strips, and sliced green onions over the filled deviled eggs. Finish with a light dusting of paprika for color.
