Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it is hot enough for roasting the Brussels sprouts.
- 2
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Halve each sprout lengthwise for more even cooking and better char.
Cooking
- 3
Toss with Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all the sprouts are evenly coated.
- 4
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place them in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are charred and tender.
Serving
- 5
Serve
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining balsamic vinegar from the bowl.
