Salmon

Hot Honey Sauce

Cheese Grits

Brussels Sprouts

Method

Prepare the Hot Honey Sauce

  1. 1

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and red pepper flakes. Stir until heated through and well combined. Set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Grits

  1. 2

    Cook the Grits

In a medium saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Stir in grits, reduce heat to low, and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

Roast the Brussels Sprouts

  1. 3

    Roast the Sprouts

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim and halve Brussels sprouts, toss with olive oil, honey, red pepper flakes, and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy and caramelized.

Pan Seared Salmon

  1. 4

    Cook the Salmon

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Drizzle with hot honey sauce before serving.
