Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Bread

Cut each sub roll in half lengthwise to create a top and bottom for each sandwich.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Meats

Slice the salami, capicola, mortadella, ham, and pepperoni into thin slices if they are not pre-sliced.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cheeses

Slice the provolone and mozzarella cheese into thin slices.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each sub roll, start layering the meats: salami, capicola, mortadella, ham, and pepperoni.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

On top of the meat layers, add the provolone and mozzarella cheese slices.

  3. 6

    Add Vegetables

Top the cheese with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onion, and bell peppers.

  4. 7

    Drizzle with Condiments

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drizzle this mixture over the vegetables on each sub.

  5. 8

    Close the Sandwiches

Place the top half of the sub roll back on each sandwich to complete.

Serving

  1. 9

    Cut and Serve

If desired, cut each assembled sub into halves or quarters for easier serving. Arrange the sandwiches on a tray and serve immediately.
