Fries

Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle with vegetable oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat well.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fries

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, sweet bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 4

    Cook the Plant-Based Beef

Add the plant-based ground beef to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Stir in garlic powder and paprika. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the beef is heated through and browned.

  3. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Reduce heat to low and sprinkle the white American cheese over the beef and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 6

    Combine and Serve

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven. Place the crispy fries on a serving platter, then top with the plant-based beef and vegetable mixture with melted cheese. Serve immediately.
