Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.

Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Baking

Prepare Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Scoop Dough
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Bake Cookies
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
