Cap's Chopped Italian Party Tray Recipe

Prepare the Salad Base

    Chop the Lettuce

    Wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large mixing bowl.

    Prepare the Tomatoes

    Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Add them to the bowl with the chopped lettuce.

    Add the Olives

    Drain and rinse the black olives if using canned. Slice them in half and add to the salad bowl.

Add Meats and Cheese

    Slice and Add Provolone

    Cut the provolone cheese into small cubes or strips and add it to the salad bowl.

    Prepare the Salami, Capicola, and Prosciuttini

    Slice the salami, capicola, and prosciuttini into bite-sized pieces. Add all three to the salad bowl and toss gently to combine.

Make the Dressing

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

    In a small bowl, whisk together red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

    Dress the Salad

    Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss everything together until evenly coated.
