Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patty
Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about ¾ inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the apple smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- 3
Grill the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of white cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- 4
Toast the Buns (Optional)
If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, followed by the beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, tomato slice, and pickled onion. Top with a Fresco pickle and the other half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Fresco Burger hot with a side of French fries.
