Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

Shape the Meatballs
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a giant meatball.

Cook the Meatballs
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Whipped Ricotta
In a bowl, whisk the ricotta cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve
Place the meatballs on a plate, top with tomato basil sauce, and dollop with whipped ricotta. Garnish with additional basil if desired.
