Lasagna

Method

Lasagna Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  2. 2

    Layer the Lasagna

In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the spinach mixture, and a layer of mozzarella. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and marinara sauce on top. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

  3. 3

    Bake the Lasagna

Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Caesar Salad Preparation

  1. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and Caesar dressing. Toss to coat evenly and sprinkle with shaved Parmesan cheese before serving.

Baked Bread Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the loaf of bread and brush each slice with melted butter mixed with garlic powder. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
