Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Sausages

In a large skillet, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mash

Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter and milk until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Make the Gravy

In the same skillet used for the sausages, add chopped onion and cook until translucent. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add beef stock while stirring to avoid lumps. Add Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer until thickened.

  4. 4

    Cook the Peas and Carrots

In a small pot, boil peas and diced carrots in salted water until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  5. 5

    Serve

On a plate, serve a generous scoop of mashed potatoes topped with sausages, drizzled with gravy, and a side of buttered peas and carrots.
