Wine (serve chilled)
Glassware & garnish
Method
Wine (serve chilled)
- 1
Refrigerator chilling (preferred)
Place the TAPI* white wine bottle upright in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours before serving. This brings the wine to an ideal chilled serving temperature (about 45–55°F / 7–13°C) depending on the style.
- 2
Quick ice-bath chill
If you need the wine chilled quickly, fill a bucket or large container with 1 liter cold water and 2 cups of ice. Submerge the bottle in the ice bath for 20–30 minutes, turning occasionally for even chilling.
- 3
Rapid cooling with ice (not recommended for long-term)
As a last resort, place the bottle upright in a bowl filled with ice for 10–15 minutes. Do not leave in direct contact with ice for too long to avoid dilution from melting ice if the bottle is open.
Glassware & garnish
- 4
Select clean white wine glasses (one per guest). If desired, chill the glasses in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes before serving.
- 5
About 5–10 minutes before serving, remove the bottle from the refrigerator or ice bath. Wipe the bottle dry with a towel.
- 6
- 7
If you like, add a thin lemon peel twist or a thin slice of green apple on the rim as a subtle garnish that complements many white wine flavor profiles.
- 8
Serve immediately at the recommended temperature. If guests prefer slightly warmer wine, let glasses sit for a few minutes; for colder preference, return the bottle briefly to an ice bath between pours.
