Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Clean and Season the Wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil. Toss the wings in the seasoning mix until they are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help to crisp the wings.

  3. 3

    Arrange the Wings

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 4

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Buffalo Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring until well combined.

  3. 6

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss the wings in the sauce until they are well coated.

Serving the Wings

  1. 7

    Prepare the Garnish

While the wings are baking, cut the celery and carrot sticks into sticks and arrange them on a serving platter.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the buffalo wings hot with the celery and carrot sticks on the side, along with blue cheese dressing for dipping.
