Prepare the Glass
Start by chilling an Old Fashioned glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.

Stir
Add ice cubes to the mixing glass and stir well for about 30 seconds until the mixture is chilled.

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice water from the chilled Old Fashioned glass and strain the mixture into the glass over fresh ice.

Garnish
Garnish with a strip of orange peel and a maraschino cherry on top for added flavor.
