Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chop

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rub the bone-in pork chop with olive oil, then season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork Chop

In an oven-safe skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned pork chop and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Bake the Pork Chop

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  4. 4

    Steam the Broccoli

While the pork chop is baking, bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the broccoli in a steamer basket over the boiling water, cover, and steam for about 5-7 minutes until tender.

  5. 5

    Finish the Broccoli

Remove the broccoli from the steamer and toss with butter, salt, and pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the pork chop is done, let it rest for a few minutes before serving alongside the steamed broccoli.
