Method

Prepare Tuna Filling

  1. 1

    Marinate the Tuna

In a bowl, combine the yellowfin tuna, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lime juice. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Make Spicy Aioli

  1. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, and minced garlic until smooth. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.

Prepare Guacamole

  1. 3

    Mash Avocado

In a bowl, mash the ripe avocados with lime juice and salt until creamy but still chunky.

  2. 4

    Add Other Ingredients

Stir in the diced tomato, chopped cilantro, and diced red onion until evenly combined. Cover and set aside.

Fry Wonton Shells

  1. 5

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 6

    Fry Wontons

Carefully add the wonton wrappers, a few at a time, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble Tacos

  1. 7

    Fill Shells

Take the crispy wonton shells and fill each with a spoonful of the marinated tuna, followed by a dollop of guacamole and a drizzle of spicy aioli.

  2. 8

    Garnish

Top each taco with micro cilantro and a few dots of sriracha for added heat.
