Prepare the Dressing
In a mixing bowl, mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl. Then add the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk these ingredients together until well combined.
- 2
Emulsify the Dressing
While whisking, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the dressing thickens and emulsifies. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.
Croutons
- 3
Prepare the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the bread slices into cubes and place them in a large bowl.

Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, tossing halfway through. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Salad
- 6
Prepare the Salad
Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped romaine and shredded Parmesan cheese.
- 7
Combine and Serve
Add the lemony Caesar dressing to the salad and toss to coat evenly. Top with the cheesy croutons and finish with additional black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
