Preparing the Lobster

Cooking the Lobster
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully add the whole lobster, ensuring it is fully submerged. Boil for approximately 8-10 minutes or until the lobster is bright red and cooked through.

Once cooked, remove the lobster from the boiling water and immediately place it in a bowl of ice water. Allow it to chill for about 10-15 minutes until completely cooled.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
