Chicken Wings

Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

1

Prepare the Chicken Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure crispy skin.

2

Season the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.

Buffalo Sauce Preparation

3

Make the Buffalo Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

BBQ Sauce Preparation

4

Prepare the BBQ Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir well and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Cooking the Wings

5

Bake the Wings

Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

6

Toss with Sauce

Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and toss them in either the prepared buffalo sauce or BBQ sauce, ensuring they are well-coated.
