Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Toss to ensure the wings are evenly coated.

Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Ensure there’s enough oil to fully submerge the wings.
Cooking the Wings

Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 8-10 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Remove the wings and drain on paper towels.
Preparing the Buffalo Sauce

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of unsalted butter.

Combine Ingredients
Once the butter is melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.

In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken wings with the Buffalo sauce until they are thoroughly coated.
