Prepare the vegetables
Wash and trim the asparagus. Peel and slice the carrots into thin rounds. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into strips.

Prepare the salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Make the lemon butter sauce
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.

Sear the salmon
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.

Plate the dish
Place a portion of the sautéed vegetables on each plate, top with a salmon fillet, and drizzle with the lemon butter sauce. Serve immediately.
