Pie Assembly
- 1
Prepare the Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- 2
Add Ice Cream
Once the crust is cool, layer the coffee ice cream evenly over the crust. Spread it into an even layer, then freeze for about 30 minutes.
- 3
Add Chocolate Ice Cream
Next, layer the Dutch chocolate ice cream over the coffee ice cream. Again, spread it evenly and return to the freezer for another 30 minutes.
- 4
Fudge Topping
Drizzle fudge sauce over the top of the chocolate ice cream layer. Use as much as desired, then return the pie to the freezer for at least 2 hours to set completely.
- 5
Serve
Before serving, let the pie sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften slightly. Slice and serve, optionally garnished with whipped cream or additional fudge sauce.
