Method

Cooking the Steak

  1. 1

    Seasoning the Steak

Sprinkle the T-Bone steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cooking the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned T-Bone steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 3

    Preparing the Eggs

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, crack the eggs into the skillet. Cook them to your liking, either sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled.

Preparing the Garnish

  1. 4

    Chopping the Garnish

While the steak and eggs are cooking, chop the fresh cilantro and dice the onions. Set aside for garnish.

Preparing the Side Dishes

  1. 5

Preparing the Cilantros and Queso Fresco

Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet for a few minutes until they are soft and heated through. Serve alongside the red salsa, queso fresco, guacamole, and sour cream.

Serving the Dish

  1. 6

    Plating the Dish

On a large plate, place the cooked T-Bone steak and two eggs. Serve with warm corn tortillas, red salsa, queso fresco, guacamole, and sour cream. Garnish with chopped cilantro and diced onions before serving.
