Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the shrimp and mussels under cold water, and set aside. Halve the corn on the cob, and dice the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes or until tender.

  2. 3

    Add Corn and Chorizo

Once the potatoes are tender, add the halved corn on the cob and sliced chorizo sausage to the pot. Boil for another 5 minutes.

  3. 4

    Season and Add Seafood

Stir in the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Then, add the cleaned mussels and shrimp into the pot. Cover and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and the mussels have opened.

  4. 5

    Serve

Remove the pot from heat and let it sit for a few minutes. Serve the shrimp boil hot, garnished with lemon slices.
