Start by chilling a coupe or cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Castle & Key Roots of Ruin gin, 1 oz of Montenegro Amaro, 0.5 oz of Giffard Pamplemousse, and 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice.

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice, covering the liquid completely.

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Garnish the drink with a slice of grapefruit on the rim of the glass.
