Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle the Grapefruit

Cut the grapefruit in half and use a muddler or the back of a spoon to press down on the flesh of the grapefruit in a mixing glass to release the juice. Use one half for this step, and reserve the other half for garnish.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

In the mixing glass, add 2 oz of Milagro Silver Tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 1 tsp of agave nectar to the muddled grapefruit juice.

  3. 3

    Mix the Drink

Use a cocktail shaker filled with ice to shake the mixture for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

  1. 4

    Strain into Glass

Strain the shaken mixture into a chilled champagne flute or a large wine glass, leaving some room at the top.

  2. 5

    Add Sparkling Wine

Top off the glass with 3 oz of sparkling wine, pouring slowly to avoid overflow.

  3. 6

    Garnish

Take the reserved half of the grapefruit and cut a small wedge to garnish the rim of the glass. Optionally, add a lime wheel for extra flair.

  4. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Paloma Mimosa!
