Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Fajita

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the steak or chicken for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Season with fajita spices if desired, and then slice into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Black Beans

In a small saucepan, heat the rinsed black beans over medium heat until warmed through, about 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  3. 3

    Arrange the Nachos

On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread the tortilla chips evenly. Layer the sliced fajita meat, black beans, and drizzle the chile con queso over the top.

Topping

    Add Toppings

Once the nachos are arranged, top them with guacamole, sour cream, sliced jalapeños, and pico de gallo as desired.

  2. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Place the nachos in an oven preheated to 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    Serve

Carefully remove the nachos from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
