Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chop Vegetables

Finely chop the fresh jalapeños, onion, and tomatoes. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and chopped jalapeños, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  2. 3

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add the chopped tomatoes, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

  3. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Reduce the heat to low. Add the Monterey Jack cheese, queso blanco, and cream cheese to the skillet. Stir the mixture continuously until all the cheeses are melted and combined into a smooth, creamy sauce.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve Warm

Once the cheese mixture is smooth, remove from heat and serve warm with tortilla chips or bread for dipping.
