Petite New York Strip with Sides

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Mash

Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, heavy cream, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Grill the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill on medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Season the Petite New York Strip steaks with salt and black pepper. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Plate and Serve

On each plate, serve a scoop of garlic mash, a portion of grilled asparagus, and the rested steak. Drizzle with housemade demi-glace before serving.
