Chicken Wings
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine Sriracha sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the jumbo chicken wings and toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
- 2
Prepare for Frying
In another bowl, mix baking powder with a pinch of salt. Remove the wings from the marinade and toss them in the baking powder mixture until evenly coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully place the marinated wings in the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove wings and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Toss with Sauces
In a large bowl, combine the fried wings with the Voodoo hot sauce. Toss well to coat all wings evenly.
- 6
Serve Hot
Serve the Sriracha crusted hot wings immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
