Prepare the Crostini

Slice and Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the sourdough bread into 1/2-inch thick pieces. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over them. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Whip the Ricotta
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, heavy cream, and salt. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, whip the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
