Pasta Preparation

Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
Season chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Stir in nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.

Plate the creamy fettuccine Alfredo and top with the sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
