Method
Prepare Ingredients
- 1
Wash and prep fruit
Rinse strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and mango under cold water. Hull and halve strawberries if large. Dice mango and pineapple if using fresh. Peel and break banana into chunks.
- 2
Measure the milk, yogurt, and orange juice. If using frozen fruit, measure while slightly packed so blender has a good texture balance.
Blend the Shake
- 3
Layer ingredients in blender
Add liquids first (milk, yogurt, orange juice) into the blender pitcher. This helps the blades move more easily. Add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract if using.
- 4
Add fruits and ice
Add the banana, strawberries, mango, pineapple, and blueberries on top of the liquids. Add ice cubes and chia seeds (if using).
- 5
Blend to smooth
Secure the lid and blend on medium-high until smooth and no large fruit pieces remain, about 45–60 seconds depending on blender power. Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed, then blend again for 10–15 seconds.
- 6
Check consistency. For a thinner shake, add 1–2 tablespoons additional milk or orange juice and blend briefly. For a thicker shake, add one more ice cube or 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt and pulse until combined.
Serve
- 7
Pour the fruite shake into a tall glass. Taste and adjust sweetness with a little more honey if desired.
- 8
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few whole blueberries or a strawberry slice. Serve immediately with a straw.
- 9
Leftovers can be refrigerated in a sealed container for up to 24 hours; shake or stir before serving as separation may occur.
