For the Mushroom Creamy Sauce

Method

Preparing the Rib Eye Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the rib eye steaks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Making the Chive Mashed Potatoes

  1. 3

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut potatoes into quarters. Place in a large pot, cover with water, and add salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, chives, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Preparing the Broccoli

  1. 5

    Sauté the Broccoli

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets, salt, and garlic powder. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender and bright green.

Making the Mushroom Creamy Sauce

  1. 6

    Cook the Mushrooms

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until onions are translucent. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their juices.

  2. 7

    Make the Sauce

Stir in heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
