Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Measure Ingredients

Gather all the dried herbs: lavender buds, tulsi leaves, chamomile flowers, and lemon balm. Measure the specified amounts for each ingredient.

Brewing

  1. 2

    Boil Water

In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 3

    Add Herbs

Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the measured dried lavender, tulsi, chamomile, and lemon balm to the pot.

  3. 4

    Steep Tea

Cover the pot and let the herbs steep in the hot water for 10-15 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor to be.

Finishing Touches

  1. 5

    Strain Tea

After steeping, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the tea into a teapot or individual cups, discarding the herbs.

  2. 6

    Sweeten (Optional)

If desired, add honey or agave syrup to sweeten the tea to your taste.

  3. 7

    Serve

Pour the herbal tea into cups and enjoy it warm. The tea can also be chilled and served over ice for a refreshing drink.
