Frying
Method
Prepare Chicken Wings
- 1
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to ensure all wings are coated evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- 2
Prepare for Frying
Remove the wings from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. Dredge each wing in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess flour.
Make Spicy Sauce
- 3
Fry the Wings
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the dredged chicken wings in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the wings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- 6
Coat with Sauce
Once all the wings are fried, place them in a large bowl and pour the spicy sauce over them. Toss to coat the wings evenly in the sauce.
Serve
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Serve the crispy chicken wings hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
