Method
Taco Filling Preparation
- 1
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Add Seasoning
Drain any excess fat from the skillet. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef, and pour in the water. Stir well to combine.
- 3
Simmer
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Taco Assembly
- 4
Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is simmering, prepare the taco shells according to package instructions (if needed).
- 5
Assemble Tacos
Once the beef is ready, take a taco shell and fill it with a generous amount of the seasoned beef mixture.
- 6
Add Toppings
Top the beef with shredded lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese. Add sour cream and salsa to taste.
- 7
Serve
Repeat the assembly process for the remaining taco shells. Serve immediately and enjoy your beef tacos!
