Ingredients for Shroom Slider

Method

Preparation Directions for Shroom Slider

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the portobello mushrooms, removing the stems and gills. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the Mushrooms

Dip each mushroom cap in the flour, coating it evenly. Then, dip it in the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, coat it with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  4. 4

    Fry the Mushrooms

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded mushrooms and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Prepare Truffle Ranch

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise with truffle oil. Mix well and season with salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Sliders

On each slider bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the crispy mushroom cap. Drizzle the truffle ranch on top, and close with the other half of the bun.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
