Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken thighs, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
- 2
Make the Slaw
In a large bowl, mix together shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Remove chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the flour mixture.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Sliders
Slice the slider buns in half. Place a piece of fried chicken on the bottom half of each bun, top with a generous portion of creamy slaw, and add pickles. Place the top half of the bun on and serve.
