Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

Mix Cream Cheese Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine 8 oz of cream cheese, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 1 large egg. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Chill the Cheesecake Filling
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up slightly.
Assemble the Xango

Fill the Tortillas
Take a flour tortilla and place about 2-3 tablespoons of the cheesecake filling in the center. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly to enclose the filling completely. Repeat for all tortillas.
Fry the Xango

Heat Oil
In a large frying pan, heat 2 cups of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Rolled Tortillas
Carefully place the rolled tortillas in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Cool
Remove the fried tortillas from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Let them cool for a minute.
Serve the Xango

Plate and Garnish
Place the fried Xango on a serving plate. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of honey, a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, and a swirl of chocolate and strawberry syrup.
