Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Jam

In a small saucepan, combine the fruits, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally. This should take about 15 minutes. Once done, remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Cook the Potatoes

Dice the potatoes and boil them in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside. In a skillet, heat some oil, add minced garlic, and rosemary. Add the boiled potatoes and sauté until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon or Sausage

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon or breakfast sausage over medium heat until crispy and cooked through, about 5-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet used for the bacon or sausage, crack the eggs and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.). This should take about 3-5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Toast the Bread

While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread slices to your liking.

  6. 6

    Serve

On a plate, serve the eggs, bacon or sausage, garlic rosemary potatoes, and toast. Add a generous spoonful of the house-made jam on the side.
