Prepare the Ingredients
Start by preparing all the ingredients. Peel and devein the royal red shrimp, and pat them dry with paper towels. Mince the garlic, finely chop the shallot, and slice the scallions. Set everything aside.

Heat the Butter
In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until it starts to foam.

Season the Shrimp
Sprinkle in the red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Continue to sauté the shrimp for 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they turn pink and opaque.

Finish with Lemon and Scallions
Once the shrimp are cooked, squeeze the juice of one large lemon over the top and add the sliced scallions. Stir everything together for an additional minute to combine the flavors.

Serve
Remove the skillet from heat. Serve the sautéed royal red shrimp warm with slices of artisan bread on the side for dipping into the buttery sauce.
