Winemaking Process
- 1
Harvesting the Grapes
Carefully hand-pick the Chardonnay grapes at optimal ripeness. Ensure that only the finest grapes are selected for the fermentation process.
- 2
Crushing and Pressing
Crush the harvested grapes to release the juice. Then, press the crushed grapes to separate the juice from the skins and seeds.
- 3
Adding Yeast
Add 5 grams of yeast to the juice to initiate fermentation. Stir gently to mix.
- 4
Fermentation
Allow the juice to ferment in a controlled environment for approximately 10-14 days, maintaining a temperature of around 18-20°C (64-68°F).
- 5
Adding Sulfur Dioxide
After fermentation, add 50 mg of sulfur dioxide to stabilize the wine and prevent unwanted oxidation.
- 6
Aging in Oak Barrels
Transfer the wine into oak barrels for aging. Allow the wine to mature for at least 12 months to develop its complex flavors.
- 7
Bottling
After aging, carefully bottle the wine into 6 bottles, ensuring that each bottle is sealed properly to preserve the wine’s quality.
