Directions
- 1
Prepare the Spinach
Wash the fresh spinach leaves thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. In a large pot, bring about 1 liter of water to a boil. Add the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Squeeze excess water from the spinach and chop finely.
- 2
Sauté the Garlic
In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic (2 cloves) and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, making sure not to burn it.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, sautéed garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, and Swiss cheese. Add salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 4
Transfer to Baking Dish
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Transfer the spinach mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and spread it evenly. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 5
Bake the Dip
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with tortilla chips, toasted bread, or vegetable sticks.
