Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it's hot enough to cook the wings evenly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Arrange the Wings

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack, ensuring they are not touching.

  4. 4

    Bake the Wings

Drizzle the vegetable oil over the wings and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.

Buffalo Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, add the hot sauce and garlic powder to the saucepan. Stir until well combined and heated through.

BBQ Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare BBQ Sauce

If using store-bought BBQ sauce, simply measure out 1 cup. If making homemade, prepare your favorite BBQ sauce recipe.

Coating the Wings

  1. 8

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are baked and crispy, remove them from the oven. Divide the wings into two portions. Coat one portion in the Buffalo sauce and the other in the BBQ sauce.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve with Ranch

Serve the wings hot with a cup of ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
