Preparing the Salad

Wash and Chop Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.
Making Caesar Dressing

Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Preparing Croutons

Make Croutons
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the slices of bread into cubes. In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated. Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Bake Croutons
Bake the croutons in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Stir halfway through to ensure even browning.
Assembling the Salad

Once the croutons are baked and cooled, add them to the bowl of romaine lettuce. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently until the lettuce and croutons are evenly coated.
