Wings
Creamy Ranch Dip
Method
Preparing the Wings
- 1
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Step 2: Season the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt and black pepper, making sure they are evenly coated.
- 3
Step 3: Prepare for Frying
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Step 4: Fry the Wings
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 5
Step 5: Drain and Season
Use a slotted spoon to transfer the wings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. If making salt and pepper wings, sprinkle additional salt and black pepper over the hot wings.
- 6
Step 6: Toss in Hot Sauce
If making hot wings, place the fried wings in a large mixing bowl and toss them in hot sauce until fully coated.
Making the Creamy Ranch Dip

Step 1: Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.

Add salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting the flavors according to your preference.
- 10
Step 4: Chill and Serve
Cover the ranch dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
