Method

Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours, until tender.

  4. 4

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and brush with BBQ sauce. Return to the oven and bake for another 30 minutes.

Potato Salad

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, add baby potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool.

  2. 6

    Mix the Dressing

In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Chop the cooled potatoes and green onions and add to the dressing. Stir until evenly coated.

Coleslaw

  1. 8

    Prepare the Cabbage & Carrot

Shred the cabbage and grate the carrot. Place them into a large mixing bowl.

  2. 9

    Mix the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 10

    Combine the Slaw

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture and toss until combined. Let it chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Kale Oil

  1. 11

    Blend the Kale

In a blender, combine soft kale leaves with olive oil. Blend until smooth and well combined.

  2. 12

    Strain the Oil

Using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth, strain the oil into a bowl or bottle to remove the solid kale pieces. Set aside.
