Ingredients: 1.5 oz Don Julio Blanco tequila; 0.5 oz Dry curaçao (or Cointreau); 0.25 oz Agave syrup (1:1 or thicker); 0.75 oz Fresh lime juice; 2 dashes Chili bitters; 1 cup Ice; 0.25 tsp Black finishing salt (or black lava salt); 1 piece Lime wedge (for rim and garnish); 1 piece Optional: thin dried chili or lime wheel

Don Julio blanco tequila, dry curaçao, agave, fresh lime, chili bitters, black salt - 1.5oz

Chill a rocks or coupe glass briefly (place in freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while prepping).

Prepare glass

Run the lime wedge around the outer rim of the chilled glass. Spread the black salt thinly on a small plate and gently press the rim into the salt to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.

Salt the rim

Add Don Julio Blanco tequila (1.5 oz), dry curaçao (0.5 oz), fresh lime juice (0.75 oz), agave syrup (0.25 oz), and 2 dashes of chili bitters into a cocktail shaker.
