Prepare the Beef
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the beef tenderloin with salt and black pepper on all sides.

Sear the Beef
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef tenderloin and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

Add Aromatics
Add garlic cloves and fresh rosemary to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute to infuse the flavors.

Roast in the Oven
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

Rest the Meat
Once done, remove from the oven and let the beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve
Slice the beef tenderloin and serve with the red wine reduction drizzled over the top.
